Ring Game Leaderboard promotions have leaderboards just like a normal tournament leaderboard, but instead of tournament points based on a finishing position, players earn ring game points weighted by hands played (duration) and winnings (profitability, measured in Big Blinds won).
Ring game points are calculated by session. When you leave a ring table, your total profit or loss is divided by the value of the Big Blind to find the number of Big Blinds you have won or lost.
-
For each hand you are dealt in which is at least 3 handed, you earn 1 ring game point.
-
You score 1 point for every 5 Big Blinds won or lost in the session.
-
If you win a part of a Big Blind, it is rounded up. If you are losing, we round down (towards zero).
For example:
If you play 25 hands and win 1,090 chips at a 50/100 table, you earn 28 ring game points.
-
25 hands with 3 players or more dealt in = 25 points.
-
10.9 Big blinds profit earns you (11* x 0.2) points = 2.2. (3*). - *Wins are rounded up.
-
25+3= 28 ring game points
If you play 25 hands and lose 650 chips at a 50/100 table, you earn 24 ring game points.
-
25 hands with 3 players or more dealt in = 25 points.
-
6.5 Big blinds profit earns you (6* x 0.2) points = -1.2 (-1*). - *Losses are rounded down.
-
25-1 = 24 ring game points.
Remember -- a losing session could cost you ring game points, but it could also still earn you valuable points if you play enough hands. Winning sessions will always earn you more points.
