Tournament tickets are a way to buy into certain tournaments, instead of using chips. From time to time other promotions will also allow use of these tickets, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on the Promotions page to stay updated on their current usability.
To find eligible tournaments where you can use tickets to play, in the Tournament lobby, use the 'Buy-in' filter to select 'Ticket'. It'll look a little something like this:
This will display all tournaments that use tickets as a buy-in:
When you register for any of these tournaments, you'll have the choice to use either a ticket or the appropriate amount of chips.
To Register using a ticket, select the tournament you'd like to play and then click the 'Register' button.
You'll then have the option to select 'Use Ticket'.
Upon selecting 'Use Ticket', you will be presented with a dropdown list of your eligible tickets, along with their expiration dates. Select the ticket you'd like to use, click 'Register Now', and you're all done! :)
You can keep track of the tickets you have in your account, and their expiration dates, on your Bank page. Clicking on your chip count at the top of the page will also show you any tickets you've won. Cool, huh?
You can win 2.5K, 5K, 7.5K, 20K, 50K, or 250K tournament tickets in Satellite or Freeroll tournaments. Satellite and Freeroll tournaments are qualifying multi-table tournaments where players are awarded ticket prizes. Some of the satellite tournaments that we currently offer are:
- 100K Free Satellite
- Satellite to 7.5K MTT
- Satellite to 20K MTT
- Satellite to 50K MTT
- Satellite to 250K MTT
If you're wanting to win tickets, you can find tournaments with ticker prizes in the Tournament Lobby, under Multi-Table Tournaments. In the "Prize Pool" on the right, they'll have tickets listed instead of the usual chip amount.
Please note: Tickets cannot be exchanged for chips. Tickets can only be used for their exact amount. (i.e. you cannot use a 5K ticket to enter two 2.5K tournaments, nor use 2X2.5K tickets to enter a 5K tournament.)
